I’ve stopped taking myself so seriously cause I’m not serious. I’m silly.
Life has proved itself to be much more enjoyable that way. I love surronding myself with people that can laugh at themselves and me.

Doing what you love is important, too. Pour moi: Like dancing, even though I am the worst one. and photography, even though it’s for the yearbook and most of my pictures end up in the trash bin, i love it. and studying history – every day i am just like how the fuck did we get here? and french – even though the prof laughs at me on a daily basis.

Millsaps doesnt intimdate me anymore, which is like, the best feeling ever.

So anywho, I am happy and I want to get my M.A./J.D. joint degree.
perhaps after taking a year off or spending a year in france teaching english.
we will see, we will see.

i am just going to talk out of my ass right now.
i want to sit outside and dig in the dirt.
i made a goals list for summer.
speaking of goals, one summer i took an etiquette class and the teacher told us we needed to always have goals. and be prepared to discuss them in conversations. then we proceeded to learn how to eat watermelon/fried chicken with a fork and knife. questionable.

watermelon, chicken and grits was the title of my favorite cd in 7th grade. by nappy roots.

i sometimes wonder how i still manage to function because of how freakin weird i am.
but what is “weird,” ya know?
i have seen three different drag queens do shows to lady gaga’s “poker face.”
PLUS =FAIL.

y101 always plays that song, too. highly annoying.
i hate y101. kirsti and i were strolling around renaissance today and their little sketchy ass bus was there.
i wanted to get out a canon and shoot it.
if there was one thing i could make not exist with my mind it would be y101.
or maybe uma thurman.
